Maria + Bernat, a rustic wedding in the countryside
There are times when simplicity can be the key to everything . And this is precisely the case of Maria and Bernat's rustic wedding in the countryside . Your wedding has reminded me of my architecture studies, when the teachers talked to us about ornament in aesthetics class. “Ornament is dead”, as Adolf Loos predicted, or Mies Van Der Rohe's famous motto, “Less is more”. This rustic country wedding is the perfect example of all this. And I love this interest in details and purity of form . 
As I told you before, simplicity does not mean laziness, and that is precisely why Maria and Bernat had to do their best to decide on all the details of their rustic wedding, since they wanted to have the flexibility to set up the spaces and the decoration in their own way. Finally, they found Montserrat catering , and, as Maria says “Once we found it, everything came together and it didn't cost us anything to decide” . 
Everything was ready for it to become the biggest party that the couple wanted, where everyone would celebrate love and have a good time. But there was a last minute unforeseen event: the day began with the threat of rain and the north wind . The party was all designed outdoors, and that was something essential for Maria and Bernat; on the terrace of the farmhouse, with long tables, party chairs and banners and lights. This worried the couple, but they were very lucky: the wind stopped and the sun appeared just as the ceremony began. Very good wishes for this couple! 
Personally, I was delighted to meet Maria and her rustic wedding in the countryside, because, as I've already told you, it reminded me of the reason for Mimètik Bcn . So I am super grateful to you for choosing us. I began to travel around the world and discovered the traditional costumes of different cultures, which were based on very basic geometric patterns, and, as my teachers would say, were beautiful in their simplicity. That inspired me to create Mimètik Bcn , and here I am still more than 12 years later, fulfilling my dream. Love story
This love story begins more than 15 years ago, on August 11, 2003. Maria and Bernat are from Barcelona, but they were both on the Costa Brava, Girona. Both Maria and Bernat were very young when they met, 18 and 20 years old, but they soon discovered that they were destined to be together. Simply everything has flowed until today , what a wonderful thing!
Complicity of the couple
Maria and Bernat are a couple who share the way of seeing and living life . They are both very sporty and love to travel. Also, they do not like to sit still and are very active. And, although they are fans of simplicity, like me, they are very perfectionist and detailed. The minimal does not have to be bland and little worked , on the contrary, it is much more difficult to translate a good work into something shorter and more concise .
Proposition
Big proposals and shows do not go with a couple like Maria and Bernat, so there was no request as such. You may be thinking “Ohh, what a shame, how nice that would have been”, but in reality, what is more beautiful than reaching a point with your partner in which the two of you are so attuned that you feel that you want to be together forever? And so it was, without embellishments or questions . Maria and Bernat decided that they wanted to throw a big party to celebrate their love , along with their friends and family.
Preparing the rustic wedding in the countryside
When Maria and Bernat came up with the idea of their wedding, the first thing they thought of was celebrating it on the same day and place where they met. That is why they decided on the Mas Oliveres hotel , in Girona. That had to be a party to suit them and style so they could enjoy with all their loved ones. The dress ♥
I can't think of someone better than María to represent what the Mimètik Bcn dresses represent. She was looking for a wedding dress that was in accordance with her way of being: simple, comfortable but elegant at the same time, something ideal for her rustic wedding in the countryside . That is precisely what I want to convey with the Mimètik Bcn dresses; They are dresses for bohemian and rustic brides who want to be beautiful on their big day without sacrificing comfort and simplicity .
