We have a new showroom at Mimètik Bcn
If you follow me on Instagram you will probably have seen that we are in luck; we have a new showroom space! I am super happy with this new step for Mimètik Bcn, an apartment located on Rambla de Catalunya, for me the most beautiful street in Barcelona <3 
And it's been a long time since many clients have asked me for a space to come and try on my dresses. Well, I've decided to take the plunge and install the new showroom for my bohemian brides! The flat is in a perfectly preserved 19th century building , with that elegance and quality of materials that so characterizes the constructions of that time. Yes, I fell in love with this space from the first moment I saw it. I had been thinking about the idea of having a showroom where I could offer the service live and meet my girlfriends for some time. I was very clear about where I wanted to go, but I didn't imagine that I would find the place of my dreams so quickly! But they already say it, if you ask a lot every night, what you want appears! 
Every day, when I arrive, I talk for a while with Josep Maria, the building's doorman, and he transports me back to my childhood, where I seem to remember that people were more attentive and more interested in others. As I make the trip in the elevator, which is preserved in its original structure, I think of my grandmother. I like to imagine how excited it would have been for him to discover this beautiful flat and to know that we have now settled here. She lived very close for many years and adored these streets. 
The new Mimètik Bcn space is divided into two wings , the part that faces the main façade, where the showroom will be, and the part with the quiet and sunny inner courtyard of the block, which is the internal work area. It is a very spacious, bright and welcoming apartment where, starting next January, we will attend to brides and bridesmaids. For the reform project I wanted to recover and uncover the original hydraulic mosaics that make up the entire floor of the apartment. They are a high quality craftsmanship and I can assure you that they are no longer made of these. 
We have restored the wooden moldings and rosettes on the ceiling , which give an elegance and vintage air to the flat that you fall in love with. The entire area that faces the interior of the block is the space where the entire team is working, a privileged environment for creation, with a terrace where the sun shines all day and with a silence worthy of a library. Here below you can see how we are all super happy after days of moving and organization work. 
From here we will work even closer and more personalized with our brides . We will have the pleasure of meeting you personally and helping you with everything you need.
